Ananda Verandah
The Ananda Verandah, an 1889 East End Victorian in Ojai, features an art studio, a grand gallery room, a salt-water swimming pool, spa, outdoor fire pit, outdoor theatre, citrus trees and teahouses in the avocado orchard. Named after a screened-in porch that encircles three quarters of the house, the Ananda (meaning Bliss) Verandah provides places to sit and create with views of the garden, pool, orchard and mountains. Whether one is painting, meditating, watching the sunset, taking in great music or singing or dining or lounging, there is a serenity here that lends wonderfully to opening up on many levels.
